Selena Gomez was born in July 22 1992, she is an American actress and singer,who is best known for her role of Alex Rosso in Wizards of Waverly place. She is also in feature flims and guest starred in the television movies Another Cinderella Story,Wizard of Waverly Place:the movie, and Princess Protection program and new movie Ramona and Beezus. Gomez is the lead singer for a pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene who together have released two studio, Kiss &Tell and A Year Without Rain and did songs for Tinker bell,Another Cinderella story,and Wizards of Waverly Place.Gomez begain her acting career at age seven,playing gianna on barney and friends.She said that she learned "everything"about how to act while on the show. She later had a minor roles in Spy Kid 3-D:Game Over. Gomez was discovered by the Disney Channel in a nation wide scouting .Gomez appeared on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody-that later turned into a recurring -on Hannah Montana from season's two to three. She now has her own show called Wizards of Waverly Place that is a big success on Disney.
